The album won the ARIA Award for Best Blues and Roots Album, solidifying Walker's reputation in the Australian music industry.

Beyond his solo work, Walker has been involved in various collaborative projects. He formed the electric trio The Necessary Few in 2003, releasing the album Navigational Skills.
